My Great-Uncle Robert Frank, who was shot down in the Pacific 65 years ago. Posthumously award the Congressional Medal of Honor for his courage that day, he was a fine, intelligent young man who should have had an extraordinary future. He gave it all up in service to his country.

I’m thankful for my Uncle Bob, and the hundreds of thousands of others who have done just as he did.

Thank you.
