June 11, 2010

Today’s post isn’t about shoes, or garden supplies, or flowers, or jeans, or jewelry, or really, anything I normally like to crow about.

We’re getting down and dirty today, people.

I’m talkin’ potty training. I’ve always said that kids and dogs, it’s basically the same thing. They do it right, you thow them a party and give them treats. They do it wrong, and well, you’ve got a mess on your hands and it don’t smell pretty.

But never fear…Nature’s Miracle is here!

We used this stuff when we had a neurotic male cat who “marked” the perimeter of our living room, my leather briefcase, and pretty much the entire house.

We used it again when we were housebreaking our German Shepherd, Heidi.

I just discovered an old bottle of it in my garage over the weekend, and friends, the angels started singing! It is just as great for our troubles today as it was back then…

Call me crazy, or call me sensible…I have tiled floors in my bathrooms and grout is porous.

Accidents, overspills, and “oops, I got distracted and looked the other way and sprayed the entire room” – they all soak in. You can’t just dump bleach on the grout to get the smell off.

But Nature’s Miracle can! That slightly odorous “ew!” when you walk into a hot bathroom is now gone, gone, gone.

As for The Boys, we’ll keep them (for now).

    >Yep, I used it for the dog, and now I've probably been using it for the boys for almost 6 years–carpet, mattresses, etc… I recently bought a bottle of Nature's Miracle with Oxy power, and I am definitely a fan!

    >Wow, what a great idea- we've used it for dogs before but never realized it would work for 'boys who miss.' We have tile in the bathroom and I hate that smell- I'm constantly giving hunter the please make it in the bowl speach. Can't wait to try it- Thanks!!(from Lisa)

    >You can also try a product called KIDS 'N' PETS it's an enzyme cleaner too, but the best part is that it cost only $5 at Target and Walmart! The bottle states it will remove "accidents" left from kids and pets.

I love comments! Go ahead. Give me a piece of your mind.
