Wake-up, breakfast, yawning, “More milk, please!”
Get dressed, make-up, hurrying, “I can’t find my shoes!”
But still…it’s Friday and the weekend is coming.
Out the door, load-up, driving “I dropped my toast!”
Day camp, packed lunches, sunscreen, “Have a great day!”
But still…it’s Friday and the weekend is coming.
One more day of hurry and toil,
One more day of work
One more day of weekday weary
But still…it’s Friday and the weekend is coming.

Yay for Fridays and weekends coming! Really enjoyed your five minute words today.
I was looking over your blog and saw the “What I am babbling about today…” I laughed ALOT when I saw the comment….When you work for church or a school…August is just one big avalanche ride to Christmas! ….And a resounding, hearty AMEN! was heard from the peanut gallery.
