Worth Repeating: Quand Je Dis Non, C’est Non!

November 14, 2011

Someone gave me this book (mon frere, je pense), and I must say, it’s a million times funnier in French. The boys think it’s especially hilarious. Scooby is working on a beautiful, nasal “on!” and coming along nicely with his guttural “r” and a good “eu!” So amazing what the immature verbal palate is capable of!

Merci bien, Monsieur Giesel. Merci bien!

That last line just rracks me up. I’m going around using it on my kids.

    C’est genial!!!

How can they POSSIBLY argue with French? It just sounds so beautiful it defies retort.

Tu parle Francais aussi, Cheri? Tu es ma jumelle, c’est vrai! Je l’ai étudié pendant 11 ans

I love comments! Go ahead. Give me a piece of your mind.
