I Will Carry You

January 4, 2012

I haven’t actually read the book yet. I’m reading another by Angie Smith, called What Women Fear, but in understanding the author, I had to look into the first book she wrote. I Will Carry You

It is the story of baby girl with a broken heart, never meant to live. She could have been “terminated.” She might never have been held. But her parents chose another way, and carried her, all the long nine months and Audrey Smith entered the world, and left it just moments later, in the arms of her family and older sisters. Leaving one loving embrace for another.

Oh, that we all could be so blessed…

Here is Angie and her husband Chris on their journey:

That is not an easy path to take, but it is a worthwhile one.

I love comments! Go ahead. Give me a piece of your mind.
