Worth Repeating: The Art of the Book Cover

April 24, 2012

Loved this on so many levels…on graphic design and not treating your audience like a moron. On publishing and what you can’t get from a Kindle. And, simply watching how he used his presentation slides was brilliant (and helpful as I build my own).

And must see for speakers, writers, artists and all lovers of books. Real books. Not the electronic variety…

Rated PG-13 for one bit of bad language about 1/3 of the way through. Blame Michael Crichton, not me.

Fan-tastic! Chip Kidd is one of my design heroes. Thought the Jurassic Park cover was a stroke of brilliance. Also a reminder that design is art, even though most of it is digital now.

I love comments! Go ahead. Give me a piece of your mind.
